DOC is comprises a large room, with a capacity of 100 people, complemented by a beautiful terrace that hosts up to 70 people.
Ideal for quiet, romantic and intimate moments, DOC is also designed to host groups and other events where wine and gastronomy are celebrated.
With a wide variety of suggestions, which changes according to the seasons, dishes at DOC are colorful and tasty.
The several alternatives range from the more traditional meats – such as Bísaro Pork, Milk-Fed Goat Kid, Maronesa Veal and Suckling Pig – to the freshest fish and seafood from our coast, combined with tasty risottos, traditional bread soups and vegetables. The selected olive oil, organic herbs, bread, cheese and quality wine complement the excellence of our suggestions.
In addition to the à la carte options, Rui Paula recommends two tastings – ‘Essência’ and ‘Signature’ menu, both with wine pairing.
New techniques and approaches are tested on a constant basis, resulting in surprising harmonizations, where preserving the original taste of food is always a goal.

Our menu contains all the great wines produced in the Douro, from the mythical “Barca Velha” to the most exclusive and unique port wine. With more than 700 references, DOC is the most complete repository of the best that is produced in the region, a true Douro wine showcase. Our offer also includes the great wines of the world and of the neighboring regions – Dão and Vinho Verde.
Functioning as a ‘tasting room’ and Douro wine tasting, the best experience is achieved when pairing perfectly dishes and wine. Our sommeliers test each combination in detail, always in search of the best suggestions.
